SHIPPING & RISK OF LOSS POLICY

At Oriental Treasure, we are committed to ensuring accurate, timely, and secure delivery of your order. Please read the following policy to understand your rights and responsibilities when it comes to shipping, delivery, and liability for loss or damage.


SHIPPING METHODS

We ship all orders via trusted carriers such as UPS, FedEx, or USPS. Once your order has been processed and dispatched, tracking information will be provided via email. Delivery timelines may vary depending on your location and the selected shipping method.


RISK OF LOSS & TITLE TRANSFER (UCC § 2-319)

All shipments are made FOB Origin (Free on Board Shipping Point) in accordance with UCC § 2-319. This means that ownership and risk of loss or damage transfers to the buyer once the goods are handed over to the carrier. Oriental Treasure is not liable for loss, theft, or damage that occurs in transit after the package leaves our facility.

If you wish to safeguard your shipment, we highly recommend purchasing optional shipping insurance at checkout. This is the only way to ensure coverage for potential loss or damage once the carrier takes possession of the package.


INSURANCE & SIGNATURE PROTECTION

If you wish to safeguard your shipment, we highly recommend purchasing shipping insurance at checkout. Insurance is the only way to ensure coverage for potential loss, damage, or misdelivery once the carrier takes possession of your package.

Signature confirmation is also recommended. For packages marked as “delivered” but never received, insurance coverage applies only if a signature was required at delivery.


INSURANCE DECLINATION

If you choose not to purchase shipping insurance at checkout, you acknowledge and accept full responsibility for any potential loss, theft, or damage during transit. By declining insurance, you waive any claim against Oriental Treasure for incidents occurring after the package leaves our facility.


LOST OR STOLEN PACKAGES

If your package is marked as “delivered” but cannot be located, or if the carrier confirms it has been lost, you must contact the shipping carrier directly to initiate a claim. Oriental Treasure will gladly assist by providing tracking numbers, invoices, or supporting documentation.

OT is not responsible for filing or resolving carrier disputes unless shipping insurance was purchased and signature confirmation was required for delivery.


GOVERNING LAW

All shipments and transactions are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, including applicable provisions of the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC). Any legal disputes arising from or related to shipping, loss, or delivery shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located within the State of Georgia.
